Jim Conahan, M.D. is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who specializes in refractive and cataract surgery.  He has been practicing since 1991 and was voted Denver’s Top Ophthalmologist in 5280 Magazine by his peers.  Dr. Conahan has experienced the miracle of LASIK himself, and shares his experiences as both a surgeon and patient.  He is involved in the entire process of laser vision correction, helping you to make the best decision, answering all of your questions and concerns, and personally seeing you at every appointment.

Dr. Conahan has always believed that it was a privilege and a gift to be able to give sight to the blinded poor of the world. Through his volunteer work in Mante, Mexico he has performed well over 1000 free cataract surgeries.  In 2006, he and his wife, Molly, formed a nonprofit organization called The Mission of Healing Eye. Their mission seeks to bring free medical and surgical eye care to the blinded poor in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Dr. Conahan and his volunteers have performed over 2500 cataract surgeries, seen 11,000 people in the eye clinic, and distributed 11,000 pairs of glasses—all with no charge to the patients.

He lives in Highlands Ranch, CO with his wife, Molly, and is father to three adult children and one granddaughter.

Dr. Paige Stephens is a Kansas native, she pursued her undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas, while competing as a division one athlete on the KU rowing team. She went on to graduate with honors while obtaining her Doctor of Optometry degree at Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon in 2017. At Pacific University, Dr. Stephens quickly became involved with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and journeyed to El Salvador, India, and Cambodia where she and her colleagues brought basic vision services to those in need. She eventually became president of the organization and received the Lion’s Club Community Service Award for her work. She was also honored with Pacific University’s “Student of the Year" award in 2014. After graduating Dr. Stephens pursued an academic residency at the Raymond G. Murphy VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM where she participated in glaucoma research. Dr. Stephens has published multiple posters and presented her findings at the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr Stephens grew up enjoying ski trips and summer vacations spent exploring the Rocky Mountains. As an adult she has traveled throughout the US and to many foreign countries; most recently backpacking throughout South America. Her love of the outdoors; hiking, biking, camping, and snowboarding, have made living in Colorado a great fit and she is happy to call it her home.
